Straight Hemlock Mulch
is a reddish-brown softwood mulch with a pleasant
odor. It is a natural insect repellent. |

Hemlock
Blend Mulch is a bit more brown in
color and has the pleasant hemlock odor. It is a softwood blend of Hemlock, Cedar, and Spruce
which is very typical of New England landscapes. It is our most popular product. |

Pine Mulch
is sold in both black and brown varieties and are by-products of the paper and lumber
industry. This is an excellent mulch because it doesn't compact and
holds up longer than most mulches. It is a good soil conditioner and loosens heavy
soil. Its acidity promotes
root growth and is great for acid loving plants. |

Cedar
Mulch is a reddish softwood mulch and has a distinctive cedar
smell. It comes from the lumber industry, and is mostly the
by-product of cedar fences, furniture, and log homes. This mulch is resistant to decay and repels
insects but its color fades faster than most mulches.
Its a good product for insulating soil, controlling erosion,
retarding weed growth, and holding moisture.

Chips are a mix of native pine and oak. Wood chips are not treated with any chemicals and
provide a great natural look. It is an economical option for covering large areas. |
